GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.Draw a square which will act as the frame of a cartoon hen.

STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head and the body of the hen.

STEP 2. Detail the body and head. Erase inner lines.

STEP 3. Add the tail, wings and feet.

STEP 4. Work on the whole figure of the hen, adding more details to the tail, wings, feet and head.

STEP 5. Erase redundant lines.

STEP 6. Color the wattle, the comb, the tail and the wing.
